Introduction
CursorSwitcher is a small macOS application that instantly moves your cursor to the window you switch to. This policy explains how the app handles information — the short version is that it doesn't collect anything.
Information We Do Not Collect
CursorSwitcher does not require an account. It does not collect personal information, usage analytics, or any other data about you.
It does not use tracking technologies, advertising, or in-app cookies. It does not upload information to external servers or store anything in the cloud.
How CursorSwitcher Works
CursorSwitcher runs entirely on your Mac. When you switch windows with Command + Tab, the app moves your pointer to the newly focused window. Everything happens locally on your device — no personal data leaves your Mac.
Permissions Used
macOS requires the Accessibility permission so the app can move the pointer between windows. You are prompted once during setup and can revoke access at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
No other permissions are requested.
Data Security
Because CursorSwitcher does not collect or transmit data, there is nothing on our side to breach. Your Mac's built-in security protections apply to the app like any other native application.
Third-party Services
The macOS application does not integrate with third-party services, SDKs, or analytics providers.
This website may use privacy-friendly analytics or cookies to understand aggregate traffic. That is separate from the CursorSwitcher app itself, and no data from the app is shared with the website.
Children's Privacy
CursorSwitcher is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Meaningful changes will be highlighted on the CursorSwitcher website.
